To be abundantly clear, Magnolia Herb Farm follows the USDA organic regulations, but we are not “certified” organic as we fall under the USDA National Organic Program Exemption §205.101 that applies to our specific organic operation. With your continued support, we hope to become the first certified organic herb farm in our area in the near future.  In the meantime, we follow the organic regulations, keep all of the required records, and remain in touch with the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association as well as the USDA National Organic Program, with whom we file §205.101 paperwork each year we sell our offerings. Please contact OEFFA directly if you have any additional questions.

Magnolia Herb Farm is also exempt from having nursery stock certification as we fall under the exemption §927.51 with the Ohio Department of Agriculture. If and when our farm grows and we are able to offer more products, then, at that time, we will become certified in all that is legally required of us federally and in the state of Ohio.

Thank you for choosing to support local, small organic farms like ours. We believe in being transparent as possible. Thank you, again, for your support!
